Hello!RIGHT, I've managed to get SPSS v.15. I am more than delighted - heartfelt thanks in particular to N1 Buoy.Thing is, I can't puzzle out how to work the patch that came with it. I'm guessing it'll make the 14 day trial period (EEK) redundant, or patch around it. I'm probably showing my lack of technical knowhow hereThing is, when I double click on the LZO file called 'patch' that the info thingy tells me to run, it brings up a dialogue box saying 'cracked by team linezero' with patch, about and exit options.

About brings up nothing. If I click on 'patch' (obvious?) it brings up something saying 'Can not find the file. Search the file?' And if I then click on yes, it brings up windows explorer, looking for files of spssutil.dll type.I'm fucked if I know where to go from there or what I'm meant to do to get the file working. Any help greatly, greatly appreciated I haven't got a hope in hell of learning all I need to learn about SPSS in 12 days! And clicking on the patch and dragging it onto any SPSS file just opens the blasted file / application. I'm stumpedThanks again,A technically hopeless Mrs Q.
